ECFMG status: Approved. Medium of instruction: English (university also notes some Russian-medium teaching - confirm the English-only track before applying).
Documents required
10th and 12th mark sheets (notarized); NEET scorecard; passport copy (valid well past the travel date); police verification certificate; medical fitness certificate; birth certificate (in English or notarized); 10 passport-size photos; HIV test report; official invitation letter from the university; bank document showing first-year tuition payment, if the university asks for it.
Accommodation
On-campus hostel buildings (card-controlled entry; outside guests need administrator approval) offer double- or triple-sharing rooms with beds, study tables and wardrobes, plus a laundry/drying area and a dedicated quiet reading room in the hostel building.
Mess & food for Indian students
Students share a common kitchen within the hostel to cook their own food. (Per-university Indian mess pricing isn't published on the site; many Russian universities run a paid Indian mess for about $100-150/month covering two meals a day - confirm availability and cost directly with the university.)
Visa process & support
After the university admission letter (issued in 3-4 weeks) and the Russian Ministry of Education's invitation letter (4-6 weeks), students apply for a student visa, normally ready in about 3 weeks. The consultant handles visa documentation and can arrange a travel package, currency exchange and pre-departure orientation, plus post-arrival support and a campus buddy once the student lands in Russia.
