How MBBS Abroad admission works

The core process — application, admission, documentation and visa — is common across Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Georgia. Here's the roadmap our team walks you through, start to finish.

  1. 1

    Free Counselling & Eligibility Check

Speak with a MyCareer India counsellor to review your NEET result, academic record and budget, and understand which countries and universities may suit you best.

  2. 2

    Shortlist Universities

We help you compare NMC and WHO-recognised universities across Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Georgia on fees, duration, medium of instruction and campus facilities.

  3. 3

    Prepare & Submit Application

Fill in the university application form and submit your scanned documents. We review everything with you to reduce errors and delays.

  4. 4

    Receive Admission / Invitation Letter

Once the university reviews your application, it issues an admission letter or official invitation, subject to its own eligibility criteria. Admission is decided by the university, not guaranteed by us.

  5. 5

    Complete Fee & Enrolment Formalities

Pay the initial university fees as per the official structure and confirm your seat. We help you understand the payment schedule and keep receipts for your records.

  6. 6

    Visa Application & Pre-Departure

With the admission letter in hand, you apply for the student visa and prepare for travel. We assist with documentation, a pre-departure checklist and briefing before you fly.

  7. 7

    Travel & University Registration

On arrival, complete on-campus registration, medical check-ups and hostel formalities. Our on-ground coordinators help you settle in.

Documents Required

Keep these ready — the same checklist covers admission & visa for all countries.

  • Valid NEET scorecard / result
  • Class 10 (Secondary) marksheet and certificate
  • Class 12 (Higher Secondary) marksheet and certificate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
  • Valid passport (with adequate validity, typically at least 18 months)
  • Recent passport-size photographs (as per country specifications)
  • Birth certificate
  • Filled university application form
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • HIV / medical test reports as required by the university or country
  • Police clearance certificate (where required)
  • Documents attested / apostilled as required by the destination country

Visa Process & Support

Our team handles the paperwork end-to-end. Typical visa journey:

  1. 1

    Secure Your Admission Letter

The official admission letter or invitation from the university is the foundation of your student visa application. Visa processing begins only after this is issued.

  2. 2

    Compile & Verify Documents

Prepare your passport, admission letter, financial documents and attested academic records. Our team helps you cross-check the country-specific requirements before submission.

  3. 3

    Apply for the Student Visa

Submit the student visa application to the relevant embassy, consulate or approved channel, along with the required fees. Some countries also issue an entry visa on arrival against a pre-approved invitation.

  4. 4

Medical Tests & Registration on Arrival

Most countries require medical tests and residence/registration formalities within a set period after you arrive. We share a clear checklist so nothing is missed.

  5. 5

Understand the Process, Not a Promise

Visa approval is decided solely by the respective embassy or immigration authority. We prepare you thoroughly, but outcomes and timelines are not guaranteed by MyCareer India.

MBBS in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan, a Central Asian nation that gained independence from the former USSR in 1991, has become one of the most popular MBBS-abroad destinations for Indian students, largely because of how affordable its medical programs are. Since around 2016 there has been a sharp rise in Indian students choosing Kyrgyzstan, making it a leading destination after Russia. Courses run for roughly 5 to 6 years and are taught in English at many colleges, following a study pattern of pre-clinical, para-clinical, clinical and internship phases. A handful of universities here are aligned with the newer NMC guidelines, so choosing an NMC-compliant college carefully is important for Indian aspirants.

  • Most affordable MBBS-abroad option after Russia, making it budget-friendly for Indian families
  • A few medical colleges fulfil all the new NMC guidelines, so an NMC-compliant choice is possible
  • The curriculum covers all 19 subjects, similar to Indian medical colleges
  • Around 1 year of the course is dedicated to clinical exposure, in line with NMC requirements

MBBS Abroad — FAQs

The things NEET aspirants and parents ask us most. Still unsure? Talk to an advisor for free.

Yes. As per the National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations, an Indian student must qualify NEET to be eligible for admission to a foreign medical college and to be able to practise in India afterwards. A valid NEET qualification is mandatory for all the countries we cover.

We guide students towards universities listed in the NMC and WHO directories. To practise medicine in India after graduating, you must clear the required licensing examination (currently FMGE, transitioning to NExT) and complete internship and registration as per NMC norms. Recognition of a specific university and eligibility to practise depend on meeting NMC's conditions at the time of your admission and graduation.

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), which is being replaced by the National Exit Test (NExT), is the licensing exam that Indian students who study MBBS abroad must clear to practise medicine in India. Planning for it from day one is important, and we help you keep this goal in focus throughout your course.

The MBBS (often titled MD) programme in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Georgia typically runs for about 5 to 6 years, including academic study and clinical training. Exact duration varies by university and country, so we confirm the current structure for each option you consider.

The programmes we recommend for Indian students are taught in English medium, which helps you follow the curriculum comfortably. Some universities may also offer basic local-language classes to help you communicate with patients during clinical training.

Tuition and living costs vary by country and university, and these destinations are generally more affordable than many private options in India. We share the current official fee structure for each university transparently during counselling so you can plan realistically. We do not add hidden charges.

These countries host large numbers of international and Indian students. Many universities offer hostel accommodation, and Indian food is widely available in or near campuses in most cities. During counselling we share details on accommodation, mess facilities and student life for each option.

No. Admission decisions are made by the universities and visa approvals by the respective embassies or immigration authorities. Our role is to guide you honestly, prepare your documentation carefully and support you at every step — but we do not and cannot guarantee outcomes.
