01About these terms

These terms apply to your use of mycareerindia.com and to the career counselling and admission guidance MyCareer India provides through it. By using this site or submitting an enquiry, you accept them.

MyCareer India is a career counselling and educational consultancy based in Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh. We are not a university, a college, or an agent of any government body.

02What we do — and what we do not promise

We advise students and parents on choosing a course, a college and a country, and we help with the admission process: shortlisting, applications, documentation, scholarships and, where relevant, visas.

Admission decisions are made by the institution, not by us. Nothing on this site is a promise, guarantee or assurance that:

• You will be admitted to any particular college or university
• A seat, scholarship or category of admission will be available to you
• A visa will be granted to you by any country
• A qualification obtained abroad will be recognised, licensed or registered in India or elsewhere
• Any specific career, employment or income will follow from a course

Where a page mentions that universities are recognised by a body such as the NMC or WHO, that reflects the position as published by those bodies at the time of writing. Recognition can and does change. Verify the current status directly with the relevant authority before you accept an offer or pay any institution.

03Fees and information shown on this site

The fees, rankings, course durations, intake dates and other details shown for colleges and universities are supplied by those institutions or compiled from their published material. They are indicative and provided to help you compare options.

• Figures may be out of date, and institutions change their fees without notice
• Some figures cover tuition only and exclude hostel, mess, insurance, visa and travel costs — where we know this, the page says so
• Currency figures shown in US dollars will vary in rupee terms with the exchange rate
• Totals shown may not equal the sum of the year-by-year figures where the institution publishes them differently

Always confirm the current fee, in writing, with the institution or with our counsellors before you commit to anything. Do not rely on a figure on this website as the final cost.

04Our charges

Counselling, shortlisting and the admission guidance described on this site are provided free of charge. There is no consultation fee, and no obligation to apply through us.

Tuition, hostel, application, examination, visa and any other institutional charges are payable by you directly to the institution or authority concerned. We will tell you before you incur any cost, and any service we ever charge for will be agreed with you in writing beforehand.

We will never ask you to pay an institution's fees into a personal account. If anyone claiming to represent us does so, do not pay, and contact us immediately on the number below.

05Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate and complete information about your marks, qualifications and circumstances — advice based on wrong information will be wrong advice
• Provide genuine documents; we will not assist with an application supported by false or altered documents, and we will end our involvement if we discover any
• Meet the deadlines an institution sets, and respond to requests for information in time
• Make your own decision about any college, course or country before committing, and involve a parent or guardian if you are under 18
• Check visa, recognition and licensing requirements that apply to your own situation

06Colleges, universities and external links

Listing a college or university on this site is not an endorsement, ranking or recommendation of it over any other, and does not mean we have an arrangement with it.

Where we link to an institution's own website or application portal, that site is outside our control. We are not responsible for its content, its accuracy, or how it handles your information.

07Using this website

You may use this site to research options and to contact us. You may not copy, scrape or republish our listings, content or photographs for commercial purposes, attempt to gain access to our administrative systems, or use the enquiry forms to send unsolicited or automated submissions.

The text, layout, photographs and compiled listings on this site belong to us or are used with permission. Student photographs are published with the consent of the students shown.

08Availability

We aim to keep the site available and its information current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Pages, listings and features may change or be withdrawn without notice.

09Limits on our liability

We take care to give sound advice and to keep the information here accurate. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from an admission decision made by an institution, a visa decision made by any authority, a change in fees or recognition status, or a decision you take based on indicative information published on this site.

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from our services.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and the version published here at the time of your enquiry is the one that applies to it.
